Frequently Asked Questions about Admissions

When do applications open for 2026?

Applications for the 2026-2 term open in May 2026. For 2027-1 they will open in November 2026. We recommend applying early to secure your spot and access early-payment benefits.

What documents do I need to apply?

For undergraduate admission you will need: high school diploma, Saber 11 results, a copy of your ID, and the completed application form. Graduate admission additionally requires a professional degree, academic CV, and a motivation letter.

Are there scholarship or financing options?

Yes. UNICA offers merit-based scholarships (Saber 11 and Saber Pro), athletic and cultural scholarships, and discounts for employees of partner companies. We also offer UNICUOTAS, our own interest-free financing plan, and ICETEX agreements.

Can I transfer credits from another institution?

Yes. We offer a credit transfer process for students transferring from other universities. The Academic Committee evaluates each case individually, reviewing the content and credits of previously completed courses.
